I cannot articulate how much I love this movie. Seriously.

First trailer for Wes Anderson’s new film, Moonrise Kingdom.
yes please.
I don’t care how big of a hipster this will make me. I am so excited for this film!

I just finished watching this film. I forgot how much I liked it and how it made me simultaneously happy and sad.

While I consider myself a huge Harry Potter nerd, I will not be attending The Deathly Hallows: Part Two premiere at midnight. I will, however, be seeing it tomorrow.
Like so many people elsewhere have said, the Harry Potter series has been a huge part of my childhood. I absolutely love the imagination that went into that series, the depth in each of the characters, the dark turns the books took—I could go on, but for this post’s sake, I will not.
I did not feel the dying need to go see the movie tonight, as much as I really do love the films. For me, I viewed the midnight book releases in a much more imperative “I must go or I might implode” rather than the movies.
To me, the book events have always been more exciting because of the sense of community within the book stores. There is a much different feeling with the Harry Potter film crowd.
Perhaps this is me being a book snob.
fuck. my. life.
