Days 14 and 15, the beginning of the end
Yesterday went pretty well. Salad for breakfast (odd, but I am now used to it). Snacked on fruit. Made two batches of my green juice for days fourteen and fifteen. Also had baked sweet potato fries and crispy kale for dinner, which, as of late, has become a favorite. (I am thinking those two dishes will become staples in my future diet. Thankfully sweet potato “fries” are actually good for you!)
Today went smoothly. Tomato and avocado slices for breakfast, accompanied by cantaloupe and orange-fleshed honeydew, which looks and almost tastes like cantaloupe, but not as good. Visions of piroshky, ice cream, and burritos have been dancing around in my head. And guess what?
I GET TO HAVE WHATEVER THE HELL I WANT TOMORROW! The green juice above is the last of my juicing for awhile.
A Dink’s everything bagel is in order for breakfast tomorrow. Fuck yes.

DAYS 9 - 13

It has been a bitch, to be honest. I am still juicing, just so you know. I am sticking with just the green one for now because the other ones are just too nauseating for me to deal with right now.

During the last legs of the all-juice part of the detox, I started getting really sick, so I broke this part of the detox to eat some watermelon and a tomato and avocado salad. I like how I “broke” my diet with healthy food. Ridiculous.

Anyway, I just wanted to write an update for myself and apparently for my new followers who seem to be juicing as well.

I am completely frustrated with the whole juice thing. I occasionally find myself actually just fasting as opposed to juice detoxing, which really is not good. 

I am trying to find a (cliche) “happy place” in juicing for my last few days of detoxing. 

I am also crazy excited to go have Mexican food before I leave for Seattle on Thursday.

When I feel depressed, I get mad cravings for chocolate covered strawberries.

And then I wonder why I am not losing weight. Brilliant.
