update on life.

I think I have finally overcome my dislike of talking on the phone, which is quite nice. Considering that I won’t be seeing my friends and family for long periods of time during the next three years, the phone and Skype (which is wonderful, by the way) will be my means of communication with California.

I will begin packing this week and that thought is kind of killing me. Actually, now that I am typing this, this week is going to be 90% procrastinating and 10% packing. I have to decide which books I am taking and I have to print out all my photos for the photo album Blake made me. And then I am going to get all nostalgic and emotional and I will probably end up crying. Yay.

ELEVEN DAYS UNTIL I MOVE TO SEATTLE. I’m just going to steal some Mitchell Davis vocab and say that I am scaterrifered. Beyond excited, but still very much scaterrifered.

I refuse to allow myself to have a messy dorm room. In other dorm-related news, I am really hoping my roommate and I click. She hasn’t responded to my e-mail, so that’s lovely. Bah, anxious.

I cannot believe I am leaving in a little over a week.

I still haven’t seen Scott Pilgrim vs. the World. Mildly upsetting.

On a more positive note, I have been insanely creative lately, which is lovely! I’ve been working out some ideas for paintings, making jewelry (which is going quite well, surprisingly), diddling with my guitar, and writing quite a bit.

Oh.

I love seeing that people I love are happy. Warm fuzzies.
